The stimulus package is scheduled to bring much needed relief and confidence to the US economy

The US House of Representatives has approved the mammoth $2.2 trillion coronavirus stimulus bill passed earlier this week by the Senate, sending the long-awaited relief package to President Donald Trump’s desk for signing.

The need to distribute immediate aid to Americans and small businesses affected by coronavirus-related shutdowns appeared to override legislators’ objections to various controversial provisions included in the massive legislative package.

It is now expected due to the Bill’s emergency nature that its passing into law will be expedited.
