If things couldn’t get any worse for the government of Canada, Justin Trudeau has drafted mandate letters to all cabinet Ministers promoting woke ideologies and policies to be pursued in 2022.
Trudeau’s new mandate letters to the 38 members of cabinet were published online, with ending the fight against COVID-19 remaining a top priority across government.
Despite nearly two years of masking in public places, social distancing, lockdowns, vaccine passports and mandatory vaccines for employees, the government’s response in the mandate is to carry on as before (with the inclusion of vaccinating 5 year-olds) to stop the spread…because it’s worked so well thus far. By the way, don’t forget your booster shots and prepare for another lockdown in the coming weeks.
But Trudeau said the pandemic cannot throw woke-ness off course, and his letters highlighted the need to fight the “existential threat” of climate change. Of course, no mention was made of the Prime Minister himself cutting back on diplomatic trips abroad or flying across country for vacations on national holidays…because only non-politicians cause climate change (didn’t you know?).
Trudeau has also tasked every Minister to come up with a plan to implement everything in the mandate letters and report regularly and publicly on their progress. We’re guessing the Prime Minister himself won’t be providing reports as his blatant hypocrisy will be exposed for all.
Then again, can anyone be surprised that the internationally acclaimed “Prince of Woke” has put forward such a ridiculous agenda, yet has no intention of following it himself? Hardly. The government would do better to focus on real issues affecting Canadians (housing, inflation, water access for indigenous peoples) rather than promoting empty issues that its own leader cannot live up to.
