If you thought the pandemic was going to be over soon and things would start getting back to normal, think again.
The World Health Organization made a dystopian announcement that COVID-19 vaccinations will not replace lockdowns and restrictions, but simply compliment them.
Speaking at a live press briefing in Switzerland, the WHO’s Director-General, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, made the announcement while fully masked:
“It’s important to emphasize that a vaccine will compliment the other tools we have [mandatory testing, quarantines, restrictions, lockdowns], not replace them,” he said.
Vaccines were never a viable exit strategy due to resistant variants.

“The vaccine on its own will not end the pandemic. Surveillance will need to continue. People will still need to be tested, isolated and cared for. Contacts will still need to be traced and quarantined.”
“Communities will still need to be engaged, and individuals will still need to be careful.”
The WHO’s announcement left many wondering about an “eternal pandemic”, one in which Canada never escapes from and is subject to lockdowns, restrictions and police measures for years to come.
The same can be said for Canada’s Public Health Agency under Dr. Theresa Tam. Time and time again, Tam has alluded to more restrictions and how “now” is the most challenging time of the pandemic, despite Canada being almost a year and a half into lockdowns, public health measures and (soon to be) mandatory vaccinations.
“Vaccines were never a viable exit strategy due to resistant variants,” tweeted Roman Baber in June, a former Progressive Conservative MPP in Ontario who was expelled for his views on Doug Ford’s lockdowns.
“Tam and now WHO are telling you that despite vaccination the measures will have to continue. Many of you have been fooled. This life is not sustainable. Government owes us an exit strategy.”
If this doesn’t scare the living hell out of every rational and freedom loving Canadian, we have no idea what will.
We were told by our governments that we would just need to stay at home for two weeks to “flatten the curve”. We were lied to.
We were then told that forced isolations, quarantines and lockdowns were “temporary measures”. We were lied to.
We were then told that “life can get back to normal” once we’re all vaccinated, and surprise, surprise, we were lied to.
Elect Conservatives will always stand against mandatory vaccinations, lockdowns and vaccine passports. If the WHO’s announcement means anything at all, it’s that we must finally stand against these dystopian policies in the name of public health, because if we don’t, they will never end.
